This year I had the opportunity to participate in the 15th annual March of Dimes Bikers for Babies. This is the single largest March of Dimes fund raiser with over 6,000 motorcyles. This year the group set a new record by raising over 700K.
With YOUR help, we were able to raise $ 4,000. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed and for Cisco matching the Cisco based contributions!
The Missouri Tigers opened their season againt Illinois in the A.G. Edwards dome in St. Louis. As is the custom, I headed over and my friend Robert and I went together. Great time! Somehow we got lost on the way back and ended up in East St. Louis…
As we were sitting there, we realized that Jeremy Maclin (first round draft pick from MU to the Eagles) was hanging out right below where we were sitting.
In a trip down to Columbia to see Tom when he was in the hospital, I learned that an old college friend was in town. It was great to see Dee Ann. Hopefully next time she will bring Pete.
For those interested, we were at Hawgs and Dogs, a bar owned by a really good guy from my high school (Kent Untersher) in Columbia, MO
Who new there were X row seats. Darren, Garrett, Max, and I. The game was followed by an awesome fireworks display which was followed immediately by a huge rain shower. Greatfully, we were under the overhang. Mara and Jen were not so fortunate!
We splurged this year and purchased a nine game pack to the Royals. They had an awesome promotion where tickets were on $ 9. Picture of Mara, Max, and our friend Darren Forshee’s son Garrett.
Joe and Katie were right next to us. We were concerned when they rolled in that they were ultra conservative. As we found out on the river the next day, we were very WRONG.
Super nice couple who we will hook up with again at an MU game this fall.
